Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.62%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.62% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which rose 9.85% or 10.20 points to trade at 113.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) added 6.43% or 2.75 points to end at 45.50 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) was up 5.65% or 1.95 points to 36.45 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which fell 2.27% or 1.30 points to trade at 56.00 at the close. Almoosa Health Co (TADAWUL:4018) declined 1.85% or 2.60 points to end at 138.20 and Wataniya Insurance Company (TADAWUL:8300) was down 1.75% or 0.45 points to 25.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 198 to 116 and 31 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.85% or 10.20 to 113.80. Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) rose to 5-year highs; rising 6.43% or 2.75 to 45.50.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.46 to $77.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $80.79 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.20 to trade at $2,748.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 3.85, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 109.20.
